Our History

In 1987, Kenny King founded TopRx initially selling short-dated generics to independent pharmacies during the day and then packing and shipping the packages alongside his wife each evening. From this start-up operation, the company has grown to become a full line generics national distributor working to provide fair, competitive pricing to independent pharmacies, chain drug stores, digital pharmacy, mail order, hospital, and government amongst other pharmacy partners nationwide.

TopRx is a NABP Accredited Drug Distributor of generic pharmaceuticals, specialty products, preferred brands, over the counter products, among other supplies, serving various classes of trade nationwide. As an authorized distributor for all leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, TopRx has grown into one of the most trusted generics-focused distributors in the U.S. We have grown our footprint to continually enhance the customer experience. We are easy to do business with through various order platforms such as e-commerce, Electronic Data Interchange, (EDI), and of course through our trusted, dedicated account managers. We are a relationship-built business, and we value the customers we serve.
